Masons serve in local communities to help protect our children
The Masonic Fraternity since time in memorial has been an advocate for the safety of our youth. Masons have sponsored the CTCHIP,CHild Identification Program, in Connecticut for the past 15 years. We provide CTCHIP events upon request throughout the state and the parents will receive these identification packets. The Masons provide the required equipment to implement the collection of height, weight, finger prints, tooth impression, DNA sample, photos and a short video of specific questions. It is our intent to work with the sponsoring organization to help them provide this free service to the general public. We make a special effort to work with local young people who do an excellent job of computer input of this information for this safety program. This CHIP event will collect this information on a computer that will burn a CD or a flash drive. This information is erased from this computer once it is saved.
We want to thank the volunteers who have helped us today to provide this valuable service to protect your children. For more information, you can go to www.ctchip.org to learn more about the CHIP program and the Take 25 Program that will help parents to talk with their children about their safety. Sincerely, WB Perne R. Maynard Perne R. Maynard 9th District CTCHIP Coordinator
